Principal Investigator: Dr. Gwen Grinyer Project Description: Understanding the climate and addressing the barriers faced by 2SLGBTQ+ individuals in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields is of critical importance. Not just from the perspective of equity and inclusion but because attracting and retaining the very best people in these fields makes for better science, which benefits everyone. This project aims to initiate a study that focuses on 2SLGBTQ+ in STEM to better understand why representation, particularly among senior researchers and faculty members in Canada, is so low.
