Exploring land-based stewardship by walking, reflecting, and pondering through artful practices, Kathryn Ricketts, Tanya Dahms and Aina Vinokurova will be holding several workshops offered to staff, students, and faculty through the support of the Humanities Research Institute. These workshops consist of short walks along Wascana Lake and returning to a studio in the Faculty of Education where arts-based reflections are created and shared.
Through our senses and a heightened presence to place we hope to encourage an appreciation and even a sense of responsibility to the ethic of care in relation to land and each other.
The purpose of this workshop is to call attention to the land we walk through daily and to introduce new ideas of purposeful stewardship.
