“Examining Familial Relationships: A visual art project combining digital photography, drawing, and text”

This project critically examines my familial relationships utilizing autobiography, memory and narrative. The basis of the work is archival family photographs which will be altered through drawing, creative writing, and digital manipulation to form new, unique images. This project utilizes commercial inkjet printing to create artwork that is layered in meaning and art processes. The intent is to encourage compassion and self-awareness and offer meaningful insights into the impact of family relationships.
