Developing Community Partnerships: Indigenous Knowledge and Western Views

Historically concerns have been raised about the need for reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Developing partnerships and co-creating mutual guiding principles that engage community members in research may be one step closer towards reconciliation. The aim of this project is to form a partnership between Cowessess First Nation and academic researchers in an effort to understand social inclusion among seniors and to learn about the community through an Indigenous lens.
